ParSon  UPGRADE

In order to unlock the App Lock, Time Lock, Web Filter, and Locator features, we need to make some changes to your mobile device. This process will take a couple of minutes.

Install ParSon Utility

1. Navigating to http://parson.cc/upgrade/ on a computer browser.
2. Download & install “ParSon Utility”
3. Launch it from your downloads and run through the installation prompts

Run through ParSon Utility

1. Plug target device into your computer, select “START”
   
2. On your target iOS device
   1. 1. Turn off “Find my Phone”
         1. Settings    2. User Apple ID    3. iCloud    4. Find My iPhone / iPad    5. Turn ‘Find My iPhone / iPad’ OFF
         
      2. Click “I’m Ready” when done
3. On your iTunes
   1. iTunes Backup
      1. Go to “Summary”    2. Select “The Computer”    3. Uncheck “Encrypt local backup”    4. Click “Back Up Now”
      * Please wait until the current date/time appears under “Latest Backup:” before you proceed
      
4. For Mac User ONLY
   * It’s a must for MacOS Mojave (Mac has avoided widespread malware, and Apple tries to keep ahead of the ways in which malicious software can gain a foothold in macOS
   1. Click “Configure Permission” to add ParSon.app to Full Disk Access
   2. Configure Permission
      1. Go to “Privacy”    2. Select “Full Disk Access”    3. Click the “LOCK” icon    4. Insert “Password”    5. Click “Unlock”    6. Click “+” button    7. Find “ParSon.app”    8. Click “Quit Now”
      
      9.  “Quit Now” will close the Utility, you have to *Relaunch “PARSON UTILITY” manually on your Mac for next step
   3. You are about to supervise the device now, please click “CONFIRM” to continue
5. On your iTunes
   1. Restore Backup
      1. Go to “Summary”    2. Click “Restore Backup”    3. Click “Restore”
      
   2. iTunes will restore the backup to the target device, and it will Reboot afterwards to finish UPGRADE

6. Successfully Supervised
